Olivo.net is a Decision Support System (DSS), which is an expert system that integrates various information (weather trends, phenological development of crops and mathematical algorithms) to produce advice and alarms that are easy to interpret and effective in managing olive groves. The DSS do not replace the technician or the agricultural entrepreneur, but provide them with additional information to improve the decision-making processes relating to the agronomic management of the crop and allow a rationalization of the interventions, guaranteeing the achievement of qualitative / quantitative standards, with greater environmental sustainability .
