Our Identity
Oleum Sicilia is a Sicilian olive producer organisation representing more than 3,000 farms and oil mills across the region, united by the same passion: quality olive growing.
We operate under specific agreements with AGEA and the Sicilian Regional Government, as required by national and EU legislation. We produce, select, bottle and market under our own brand extra virgin olive oil: Sicilia PGI, Val di Mazara PDO and 100% Italian, an authentic expression of the place it comes from.
Supply chain and quality
With expert agronomists on hand, we follow and oversee every stage of the Sicilian olive supply chain, ensuring high quality standards in both agronomic management and harvesting. We support the introduction of innovative techniques in processing facilities, designed to preserve the quality of the oil in the fruit down to the last drop.
Our supply chain is fully traceable and certified: every bottle bearing the Oleum Sicilia name is the result of a rigorous, monitored and transparent process, from field to table. Our labels attest to the origin of the oil, assuring consumers and industry professionals of complete transparency.

Our mission is to see Sicilian olive growing recognised for what it does best, and its traditions carried forward by modern and sustainable methods. We believe certified extra virgin olive oil is the most effective way to counter fraud in the market and give consumers a product they can trust.
